The police conducted a heightened surveillance operation in central Zagreb and on Ban Josip Jelačić Square, targeting drivers of electric scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, and other personal vehicles. The operation aimed to protect pedestrians and improve overall safety in the city’s busiest areas. Results confirmed that some scooter drivers knowingly ignore traffic laws, directly endangering other road users, especially pedestrians.
