The event, taking place at the Monastery Complex of Saint Nicholas, features local bands and is organized by the International Klapa Festival Perast in collaboration with the Parish of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Prčanj and with support from the Kotor Bishopric. The fires broke out on August 13 near Lokva Rogoznica and spread towards Omiš, burning approximately 1,000 hectares of land, killing two people, and injuring 38 others. The following day, the fire reached Pelješac, completely destroying the Church of Saint Peter on the local cemetery. Part of the proceeds from the concert will also go toward pilots who participated in extinguishing the fires in the Bay of Kotor. The organizers aim to collect aid for those affected and contribute to preserving cultural heritage.
