The bullfighter passes the stage to Del Toro, Vingegaard remains in the yellow jersey

Isaac Del Toro from UAE Emirates-XRG won the second stage of this year’s Tour de France, covering 168.5 kilometers from Tarragona to Barcelona. The UAE team controlled the final stretch until two and a half kilometers from the finish line, where British rider Adam Yates led. After Yates 'gave up,' attacks from other teams began, but Del Toro and his captain Tadej Pogačar responded, allowing Del Toro to take the lead in the final 300 meters. Although Pogačar could have easily overtaken Del Toro, he signaled to his teammate to let him win, finishing second at the same time. Meanwhile, Jonas Vingegaard from Denmark retained the overall leader position, maintaining a six-second advantage over Pogačar.
