PNB partners with A.P. to set up Quantum Finance Innovation Hub in Amaravati

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh state government to establish a Quantum Finance Innovation Hub at the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and PNB Managing Director Ashok Chandra. This collaboration makes PNB the first Indian bank to collaborate with a state government on a dedicated Quantum Finance Innovation Hub focused on the banking sector. The hub aims to develop advanced technological solutions for finance, including cybersecurity enhancements, improved fraud detection, and secure digital banking ecosystems using quantum technologies. It will function as a collaborative platform involving banks, academia, startups, and government agencies, promoting innovation in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and related technologies. The initiative supports Andhra Pradesh's vision of establishing Amaravati as a global center for quantum technology and deep-tech innovation.
