A drunken gang of six assaulted three strangers in downtown Riverside.

Six Croatian citizens aged between 21 and 39 were fined €1,500 each for their reckless and indecent behavior after they physically attacked three foreign nationals in the center of Rijeka on August 27. The incident occurred around 11 PM in the area of Brajda, on Fiorella la Guardie Street. According to police reports, the six men were under the influence of alcohol when they approached the three foreigners, aged 24, 26, and 27, and assaulted them. One of the victims was lightly injured, and the attackers stole a bag containing various items. Police quickly arrived at the scene and prevented further disruption of public order. Some suspects fled but were soon caught by police, who recovered the stolen items. During the investigation, it was determined that the six individuals intentionally attacked the foreign nationals. Additionally, a 29-year-old suspect attempted to flee the scene by car, disregarding traffic signals and speeding through four red lights. He faced additional traffic violations and was fined up to €2,650, along with a six-month ban on driving vehicles of category B.
