ABUJA, The Pan Niger Delta Forum, known as PANDEF, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his approval of a 15-year gas supply agreement for UTM Offshore Limited, which aims to construct Nigeria's first Floating Liquefied Natural Gas, or FLNG, facility. This decision marks a pivotal step toward advancing energy infrastructure and economic growth in the Niger Delta region. The agreement was announced following a statement issued by PANDEF’s National Chairman, Ambassador Godknows Igali. According to the statement, the approval of the gas supply framework is a key component in accelerating industrialization and economic development in the Niger Delta.
