By the end of the year, it could be run on almost 400 km of highway between Bucharest and Paschany

The Romanian construction company UMB Spedition has begun paving work on the first kilometers of the Mircești-Pașcani section (lot 3) of the A7 Motorway, part of the Moldova Highway project. The company has committed to opening traffic on this 28.09 km segment by the end of 2026. This would allow travel on approximately 397 km of highway between Bucharest and Pașcani, including parts of the A3 and A7 highways and a bypass route around Bacău. The project is funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
