She accused her husband of pedophilia on TikTok: less than two weeks later - he killed her

Influencer Sara Gilson tragically died after being shot by her husband Jeremiah Duffey, who later committed suicide. The incident occurred just under two weeks after Gilson publicly accused Duffey of pedophilia on TikTok, where she had over 30,000 followers. Prior to the shooting, Duffey was reported for allegedly sexually abusing a minor, with multiple allegations including inappropriate touching, sending messages, and offering money to keep quiet. A second coach reportedly witnessed the abuse and alerted the parents. Duffey had been banned from approaching Gilson and her home within 90 meters. On July 23, police responded to a call of domestic violence, arriving to find both victims dead. Gilson’s son was temporarily placed under protective care and later handed to his father. A fundraising campaign was launched for Gilson’s children.
