The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expanded the ski jumping program for the 2030 Winter Olympics in France by adding women's doubles competition. This change follows the removal of Nordic combined from the program. The event will take place in Courchevel, where Slovenian athlete Nika Prevc aims to compete for four medals. The IOC also confirmed quotas for athletes, allowing 100 ski jumpers—50 men and 50 women—to participate. In addition, biathlon will feature mixed doubles relay, increasing the number of medals awarded in this sport from six to twelve. Mixed doubles relay was first introduced in the World Cup in 2015 and at world championships in 2019, gaining popularity over the past decade. Slovenian fans will have the opportunity to watch this event at home in Pokljuke during major competitions.
