Misdemeanor trial held against 36 persons detained at Gazimestan: Judgment to be pronounced on July 1 (VIDEO)

The article reports on a traffic violation hearing held at the Temporary Institutions Court in Pristina against 36 individuals who were detained on July 5th after participating in a ceremony at Gazimestan, commemorating Kosovo's independence. The detainees, including several foreigners whose documents were temporarily confiscated, claimed they were not guilty and expressed hope for their release by July 1st. Their lawyer, Nikola Todorović, criticized the lack of evidence provided by police and highlighted the difficulties faced by foreign nationals unable to return home until the verdict. The 'Kosovo Police' reportedly acted aggressively during the event, detaining individuals at the exit of the memorial complex and using force against peaceful attendees.
