The Slovenian news outlet Žurnal24 reports on the unveiling of a new high-performance car inspired by the legendary Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, a racing icon from the golden era of the DTM championship. The project, called 55-SGT by Italian company SGT Automobili, is a tribute to the historic vehicle, which was driven by Nicola Larini to win the DTM title in 1993. The new model is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio platform but has been extensively modified, featuring a carbon fiber and Kevlar body, a four-wheel drive system, and a powerful 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine. The most powerful version, called Trofeo, produces up to 750 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Only 55 units will be produced, with an estimated price tag of around €500,000.
