Starting today, citizens in Croatia can register for new 'trezorski zapisi' (safekeeping notes), which offer an annual return of 2.75%. The target nominal issuance amount is 1.75 billion euros, with registration open until September 14 at 11 AM. These safekeeping notes can be registered through Fine branches, the e-Riznica platform, or the m-Riznica app. The minimum investment is 993.19 euros, and investors will receive 1,000 euros upon maturity, yielding a profit of 6.81 euros. The notes will be issued on September 17 and mature on December 17, 2026. A second round of registrations for institutional investors will take place on September 15 between 9 AM and 11 AM, where final issuance conditions will be announced. Holders of safekeeping notes registered in June can choose automatic reinvestment of available funds, but they must activate this option by the end of the first registration period, before receiving the payout into their bank account. In the first round, eligible participants include adult Croatian citizens living domestically or abroad, as well as foreign nationals residing in Croatia. Each investor can submit only one bid.
