Municipality of HočelivSlivnica: Measures in response to an outbreak of severe hive rot

The municipality of Hoče–Slivnica has announced measures taken by the Regional Office for Food Safety, Veterinary Medicine, and Plant Protection due to confirmed cases of severe foulbrood disease in bee colonies in the Hočko Pohorje area. The affected areas include apiaries in the municipalities of Hočko Pohorje, Pivola, Planica, Polana, Ranče, Slivniško Pohorje, and Upper Hoče. These measures include a ban on moving bees and beekeepers, as well as mandatory clinical inspections of all apiaries.
