NSU supporter sentenced to two years in prison

A German court has sentenced Susann E., a supporter of the National Socialist Underground (NSU), to two years' probation. The conviction was based on her providing false identity documents to Beate Zschäpe, who was previously convicted as part of the NSU cell. The NSU was responsible for ten murders, two bombings, and numerous attacks across Germany. Two other members of the group, Uwe Böhnhardt and Uwe Mundlos, evaded arrest by committing suicide in 2011 after a robbery in Eisenach. Zschäpe is currently serving her sentence at a women’s prison in Chemnitz.
