Nigerian joins Resource Justice Network global board

Tijah Bolton-Akpan, executive director of Policy Alert, has joined the global board of the Resource Justice Network (RJN), serving as the Anglophone West Africa representative. Previously known as Publish What You Pay, the RJN focuses on promoting transparency, accountability, and equitable governance of natural resources in Africa. Bolton-Akpan will collaborate with other African representatives to influence global policies that ensure local communities benefit from resource extraction. He expressed gratitude to outgoing representatives and supporters in Nigeria for their role in his election.
