Nigeria has sent its largest-ever archery team to the 15th African Archery Championships in Oran, Algeria, from 21 to 26 July. The 18-member delegation, organized by the Nigeria Archery Federation (NAFED), will compete in six categories, marking a significant milestone in the sport's growth within the country. The team includes notable athletes such as Aliyu Abubakar and Kachollom Larai Enyenihi, with NAFED President Mohammed Baba Abdullahi leading the delegation. Nigeria has shown strong performance in recent competitions, including winning gold medals at the 2025 African Championships and the Africa Run Archery Tournament.
