Dinamo's new stopping guard in the spotlight after BiH's elimination from the World Cup

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team was eliminated from the World Cup after a 2-0 defeat to the United States in the round of 16. Following the match, criticism was directed at defender Stjepan Radeljić, who recently joined Zagreb-based club Dinamo after leaving Rijeka. During the game, Radeljić made controversial decisions that contributed to the loss. In the first goal, he failed to intercept an attack and passed the ball directly to the American forward, allowing him to score. Later, Radeljić received a yellow card for a foul near the penalty area, leading to a free kick that resulted in the second goal. This was Radeljić’s seventh appearance for his country and third at the World Cup. He started due to the suspension of teammate Tarik Muharemović and remained in the lineup even after Muharemović returned. The 23-year-old defender, born in Nova Bila, will continue his career at Dinamo after completing his contract with Rijeka. Several clubs showed interest in him during the summer transfer window, but he chose to join Dinamo.

Sedamdeset hiljada ljudi dolazi zbog nas, a posebno zbog svih ljudi u Bosni i Hercegovini vrijedi dati posljednji atom snage.“

Ne opterećuju me takve stvari.
