NEET UG 2026: In final answer key, NTA drops 1 physics question, awards 4 bonus marks

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the final answer key for the NEET UG 2026 examination, making two significant changes to the Physics section. One question involving a Vernier calipers problem was removed due to disputes, while another on electromagnetic waves was revised as both options 3 and 4 were correct. As a result, NTA awarded 4 bonus marks to all candidates, including those who did not attempt the questions. Over 2 million students took part in the re-examination after the original exam on May 3 was affected by allegations of a leak, leading to a re-test on June 21. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 13 individuals in connection with the leak case.
