Are you planning to move abroad?

The organization InterNations has released the results of its Expat Insider 2026 survey, which identifies the best countries for expatriates based on factors such as work opportunities, personal finances, quality of life, basic conditions for expats, and ease of integration into local communities. Panama topped the rankings for the third consecutive year, with 87% of expats there expressing satisfaction with their lives abroad, significantly higher than the global average of 70%. Mexico ranked second due to its ease of social integration, while Thailand came in third, with many expats satisfied with low living costs and affordable housing. Among European countries, Spain placed sixth, Portugal eighth, and Luxembourg tenth. In contrast, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Germany, and Norway ranked much lower, with Norway last in terms of integration ease and 30th in both quality of life and personal finances. Slovenia did not appear on the list because fewer than 50 expats from the country participated in the survey.
