Daniel Sean James, a resident of west London, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a bladed weapon. According to prosecutors, he attacked Kirandeep inside her home before leaping from a window and sustaining serious injuries to both legs. He was subsequently apprehended by police in the vicinity. James appeared via videolink at the Old Bailey court on Thursday, where Judge Nigel Lickley KC ordered his continued detention. He is scheduled to enter his plea on October 1.
