Nicole Kidman has reignited speculation about a new romantic relationship after being spotted with private equity investor Michael Reinstein in Italy during June. The Oscar-winning actress was photographed by paparazzi outside her hotel in Portofino as she appeared to bid farewell to Reinstein, who was leaving her luxury suite. In a recent open interview with British Vogue, Kidman shared insights into her life following her divorce from musician Keith Urban. While rumors of a potential new romance continue to circulate, the 59-year-old actress revealed she is once again open to love. “I’ve always wanted to live a mindful life,” she explained, discussing her life post-divorce. “What does that mean? Trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving forward, embracing love, staying open, keeping an open heart, and seizing opportunities.” She admitted she did not expect her life to take this turn. “But that’s how it is now.” Kidman expressed a desire to look ahead with “boundless hope.” “You make all these plans and have all these visions of how everything will be, and then it isn’t. You have to adapt. You have to change,” she said, describing her current motto. “The future is completely unknown to me right now,” she added, calling this concept still “strange” to her. She confessed there was a moment when she felt deeply afraid and vulnerable. “And at the same time I thought, ‘I can either not deal with it and hide away, or I can look ahead with boundless hope.’” Michael Reinstein, the American entrepreneur and founder of a global private equity firm, is also the co-founder of the television network USN. Although Kidman has not directly commented on the rumors surrounding her connection with Reinstein, reports indicate that his personal life remains undisclosed. Since separating from Keith Urban, Kidman has been regarded as single. The couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Separately, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has filed for divorce from his wife, Elle Evans, citing irreconcilable differences. According to documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, Bellamy submitted the necessary paperwork to the Superior Court in Los Angeles. The couple, married since 2019, had previously announced their separation in early 2025. Bellamy is seeking sole custody of their children, Lovella and George, and has requested that Evans comply with a 2019 prenuptial agreement regarding child support. Evans has stated she will fight for custody and described their marriage as “unbearable.” Bellamy confirmed the breakup in an interview with The i Paper, admitting the split has been emotionally challenging. He described the situation as one involving unexpected circumstances that caught him off guard. “It’s one of those situations where something happens that most people wouldn’t think about. It was a chain of really unexpected events,” he said. “You don’t usually prepare for such things in life. It threw me completely off track, and I had to focus on taking care of the kids and creating stability at home.” Music became his lifeline after the separation. He incorporated his feelings into the album The Wow! Signal, which he described as a release. “It came out of me effortlessly. It was maybe the easiest album for me because it felt liberating. It became my lifesaver.”
