Simon Hackett, founder of Energy Autopilot, plans to launch a platform that enables consumers to sell their surplus energy directly to the market, bypassing conventional intermediaries. He argues that the current reliance on centralized entities to manage VPPs is outdated and limits consumer choice and profitability.
