At the international agricultural and food fair Agra in Upper Radgona, Miša Pušenjak, a horticultural specialist at the Agricultural and Forestry Institute of Maribor, received an award for her successful work. Despite expectations that she would pursue medicine due to her family background, she chose agriculture spontaneously from a young age. She decided against studying medicine and opted for agronomy within seconds after being told by a teacher that someone had mentioned working in all fields. She has worked in the Seed Station for 15 years and now advises farmers in the field rather than in an office. Pušenjak feels she is doing something good, true, and healthy through her work.
