The Forest Service is selling its properties in Nuuksi, Feote and Sacra Monastery

Metsähallitus has sold its nature center at Hossa National Park to a private business, marking the first time a large property within a national park has been transferred to private ownership. The sale was made to local eco-tourism company Experience KL Oy last year. The company has operated in Hossa for 13 years and will continue to manage the visitor services, even though they no longer receive compensation for it. The owner of the company, Timo Korhonen, believes that maintaining the nature center is important for preserving the area.
