Metlen, Tsakos Group launch partnership

Metlen Energy & Metals and Tsakos Group have formalized their partnership by entering an existing Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) controlled by Tsakos Group. This move represents the next phase in their strategic agreement to develop one of the largest hybrid renewable energy projects in Greece. The SPV, in which Metlen holds a 40% stake, will oversee the development, construction, operation, and commercial management of the project. The project includes a photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 251.9 MW and an energy storage system with a total capacity of 375 MWh, located in Central Greece.
