Forecasters predict a sharp turnaround in the weather, with hail the size of a walnut and strong winds.

The article reports on an upcoming significant weather change in Slovenia, following one of the longest and most intense heatwaves recorded in meteorological history. According to the Slovenian Environment Agency, the weather will shift rapidly, with thunderstorms expected in the afternoon and evening today, accompanied by strong northern winds. Localized hail up to the size of a hazelnut (up to three centimeters in diameter) is possible, though larger hail is unlikely. The stormy conditions will last until late tonight, after which the weather will gradually clear. While some afternoon showers are possible on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are expected to be dry and sunny. The heatwave is ending, with temperatures forecasted to drop below 30°C starting tomorrow, potentially reaching higher levels on Tuesday before cooling again midweek. No further heatwaves are predicted in the coming week.

Že pred tem bodo popoldne v pregretem ozračju, predvsem v hribovitem svetu, nastale prve nevihte.

Croatia and Portugal fear the weather ahead of the spectacle

The article discusses safety protocols in Canadian sports events, referencing strict measures similar to those in the United States. It explains that if a gunshot is detected within eight miles (approximately 13 kilometers) of a stadium, the match must be paused for a 30-minute countdown, which restarts with each new gunshot. Players and staff must evacuate the field, while spectators are directed to safe areas within the stadium. The piece then shifts focus to weather conditions in Toronto, where the game is expected to start at 7 PM local time (1 AM Slovenian time), with temperatures around 30°C and a 40% chance of thunderstorms. Similar incidents were reported during recent tournaments, including a match between France and Iraq interrupted by storms for over two hours, and a knockout game between Mexico and Ecuador starting an hour late due to weather.

Bias read (Center): The article focuses on sports-related topics and weather conditions, which are non-political. There is no indication of political bias or framing. The content remains neutral and factual, discussing event protocols and weather impacts without taking a stance on any political issue.
