The Brežice 2026 City Promenade successfully completed with over 20,000 visitors and a record attendance last night

The 2026 Brežice City Promenade concluded successfully with more than 20,000 visitors and a record-breaking turnout on its final evening. The event wrapped up on Saturday with a concert by the band Crvena jabuka, drawing large crowds despite intermittent weather concerns throughout the 11-day festival. The historic city center remained busy throughout the evenings, with particular attention drawn to the closing concert. In addition to concerts, local cuisine, experiences, summer tours, and family-friendly activities contributed significantly to visitor interest. A major component of this year's promenade was the Taste of the Promenade, which connected local gastronomy, wines, and destination providers. Many of the experiences and guided tours were fully booked, highlighting the diverse interests of attendees beyond just music. Activities such as Wine & Paint, Gin & Paint, Bubble Tea & Paint, Brežice Wine Tour, and summer tourist tours demonstrated that visitors come not only for concerts but also to experience, taste, and discover Brežice through stories, cultural heritage, and local specialties. Sustainability remained a key focus of the Brežice City Promenade, continuing practices established in previous editions. Organizers emphasized waste separation and weighing, responsible handling at venues, and raising awareness among visitors. Waste was again separated and weighed during the event, with organizers awaiting final results from the organization Ekologi brez meja to assess how successful this year’s edition was in terms of reducing and properly separating waste. Summer activities in Brežice will continue into August with the Summer in the Park event, scheduled from July 7th to August 29th in the atrium of MC Brežice. This event will bring relaxed evenings featuring concerts, stand-up comedy, socializing, food offerings, and a summer atmosphere under tree canopies. Attendees can look forward to performances by Koala Voice, Bruno Rački and Grupa Valovi, Generator, a stand-up evening with Saša Stareta, Jernej Celec, David Gorinšek, and Luka Dimitrijević, BioReaktor, Big Band Krško, and Silente. Admission to these events will be free. The Brežice City Promenade has become a significant annual attraction, drawing both locals and tourists.
