Maribor Municipality has selected a contractor for new electric charging stations: Price higher than expected

The City of Maribor has selected Ljubljana-based company Riko Celovite Tehnološke Rešitve, d.o.o. to install new electric vehicle charging stations at four locations across the city. The contract, signed on August 19, amounts to €2,390,797.92 before VAT, which is slightly higher than the estimated value of around €2 million. Two bids were submitted, but only one met the requirements. The project includes installing chargers at the Maribor Bus Station on Mlinski Street, Jadranska Cesta near Energetika Maribor, the Tezenska Dobrava bus stop, and the Marprom plant area along the Drava River. The project is partially funded by EU funds and is expected to take 450 days to complete. This initiative is part of a broader effort to electrify urban passenger transportation in Maribor.
