Željko Malnar iz Tršća je osvojio titulu najboljeg mladog poljoprivrednika Hrvatske na natječaju koji nagrađuje mlade poljoprivrednike koji razvijaju inovativnu, održivu i tržišno usmjerenu proizvodnju. Uz njega su dobili nagrade i Matija Kaštelan s Raba i Matej Šegulja s Krka za njihove uspješne OPG-ove koji kombiniraju održivu proizvodnju, lokalne proizvode i turizam. Kaštelan je primio posebnu nagradu za održivost u poljoprivredi, a Šegulja je povezao poljoprivredu s turizmom. Župan Ivica Lukanović je naglasio važnost poljoprivrede kao ključne grane za razvoj ruralnih područja i istaknuo da je poljoprivreda u Hrvatskoj često nedovoljno ocijenjena.
