Warangal’s District Marketing Officer (DMO) K. Surekha, 43, died in a road accident on the Tadwai, Pasra stretch in Mulugu district on Saturday, August 16, 2026. According to local police, a lorry collided with the car she was traveling in, causing severe damage to the vehicle. Surekha and the driver, Chinta Vijayababu from Warangal, died immediately at the scene. The incident occurred during late afternoon traffic on a rural road connecting Tadwai and Pasra.
