Man pleads guilty to murdering teen in Auckland street fight

Another teenager was also injured during the clash. Pongia initially claimed he was unaware of the fight and was found by police, but he later surrendered to authorities. On August 3, Pongia pleaded guilty to murder and causing grievous bodily harm. His sentencing is scheduled for October.
