Workers entering the market now will work on average for almost 37 years, two more than in 2015

According to projections by Eurostat, the average working life of Spaniards is expected to increase. The European Union's statistical office released an analysis showing that those entering the workforce in 2025 are projected to work for an average of 36.8 years, which is three tenths more than the previous year and 1.8 years more than in 2015. Experts attribute this increase to improvements in the labor market, delayed retirement ages for those who haven't completed their contribution period, increased life expectancy, and incentives to delay retirement.
