Lithuania’s tech group Tesonet seeks to acquire Grand Hotel Vilnius

Lithuania's technology and investment group Tesonet, through its Netherlands-based subsidiary Spectra, has applied for regulatory approval to acquire Grand Hotel Vilnius, a historic hotel in Vilnius. The acquisition involves purchasing 100% of the shares held by a subfund of I Asset Management. The hotel, previously known as Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius, rebranded as Grand Hotel Vilnius, Curio Collection by Hilton in May 2024 after signing agreements with Hilton and Apex Alliance Hotel Management. The current owner, IAM Grand Hotel Vilnius subfund, became the sole shareholder in August 2024. Financial reports show the hotel generated 6.96 million euros in revenue last year, though it recorded a net loss of 638,000 euros. The company plans over 10 million euros in renovations, expecting to complete most work by 2026, despite reduced occupancy during the renovation period.
