During this maneuver, the car brushed against the side of the truck, causing the driver to lose control and collide head-on with the Wish minivan, which was heading in the opposite direction from Lincoln to Junín. The impact proved fatal for the Corolla’s driver, identified as Griselda Ghione, a 60-year-old merchant from General Pico, La Pampa. She died at the scene, as reported by the regional newspaper Pampa Diario. Her passenger, a woman aged 33, sustained minor injuries and abrasions. The Wish minivan carried seven individuals of Paraguayan nationality, all originating from the locality of Caaguazú. Among them were a man aged 58, a woman aged 44, and three children, who suffered various polytraumas following the collision. One child sustained a fracture in a lower limb. All the injured were transported by ambulance to the Lincoln Municipal Hospital, where they received appropriate medical care.
