The initiative 'Elevara' has launched a new call to select 35 micro, small, and medium enterprises (mipymes) in the Valle del Cauca region, including five focused on circular economy through the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). The program, developed by Comfandi, the Chamber of Commerce of Cali, and Trulab, aims to mobilize over $4 billion to support these businesses based on their needs and negotiations with investors or financial entities. The selection process evaluates financial indicators, growth potential, and impact generation. In the previous edition, 362 applications were received, with 189 advancing and 46 completing preparation for investment, resulting in 10 companies connecting with investors and five securing over $5.3 billion in financing. Selected companies will go through three stages: initial selection, specialized mentoring, and final connection with investment funds and financial institutions.
