Beethoven's Ninth is joining the PAAX GNP Festival

On the evening of April 3rd, the fifth edition of the PAAX GNP Festival saw a powerful performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 125, titled Voces de Fraternidad. The concert was led by conductor Alondra de la Parra, born in New York in 1980, who drew parallels between the turbulent times of Beethoven and the current global climate. De la Parra emphasized the relevance of the symphony, noting how Beethoven composed it during a period marked by war and political division in Europe.
