The short film 'Zakrpa' by director Luke Galešić will have its world premiere at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival in August 2026. The film explores the complex relationship between a mother and daughter, focusing on themes of emotional turmoil, isolation, and family conflicts, while also incorporating humor. It was produced by Cobra Chicks Zagreb and supported by the City of Zagreb and the Croatian Audiovisual Center. The film is part of the competitive short film program, which includes ten entries. Luke Galešić, a filmmaker from Zadar, has previously shown his work at international festivals such as the Venice Film Festival, Mediteranean Film Festival Split (FMFS), Zagreb Film Festival (Kockice), and Pula Film Festival. He is currently developing his debut feature film 'Victoria' through Cobra Chicks Zagreb.
