Hip-hop group Kneecap has been announced as headliners for a charity concert at Falls Park in Belfast as part of the community arts festival Féile an Phobail. The event, scheduled for August 6th, will see all proceeds donated to Irish language initiatives in west Belfast and Derry. Other performers include Bob Vylan, Miss Kaninna, and Liambo Slice. Bob Vylan recently filed legal action against the BBC over controversial remarks during their Glastonbury performance, while Kneecap faced police investigation for similar onstage comments. Avon and Somerset Police concluded there was insufficient evidence to pursue charges. The festival, established in 1988, features 700 events between July 25th and August 9th. Festival director Kevin Gamble highlighted Kneecap's community involvement, noting their contributions will support local organizations like Glór na Móna and Seán Dolan’s GAC, both focused on promoting Irish language programs.
