Almost half of AI users judge its quality negatively

A survey conducted by Marketagent reveals mixed public sentiment towards artificial intelligence (AI) in Switzerland. Nearly half of AI users rate its quality negatively, perceiving generated content as unnatural and inconsistent. While 89% of respondents actively use AI, with 63% using it at least weekly, only 41% hold a generally positive view of AI, while 20% clearly reject it. Concerns include difficulty in identifying AI-generated content, with just one-third feeling confident in distinguishing such content. Many fear increasing misinformation and manipulation through 'AI trash,' with 41% worried about targeted manipulation and 40% about the spread of disinformation. The majority expect these issues to worsen in the future.
