Kia India has launched the Syros EV, its most affordable electric vehicle, priced at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom) with a claimed range of up to 526km. The Syros EV is positioned as Kia's second mass-market EV, following the Carens Clavis EV. It features an industry-first 80% assured buyback program, a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, and a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option. Two variants are available: a 42kWh model starting at Rs 13.49 lakh and a 51.4kWh Extended Range version priced at Rs 16.99 lakh. Sales will commence from July 30 across Kia dealerships. The vehicle offers 171bhp power, 0-100kmph acceleration in 8.1 seconds, and support for 100kW DC fast charging.
