Karol G has stunned her fans with the announcement of her upcoming album titled "No me arrepiento de sentir tanto", set to release on August 7. The Colombian singer revealed the news during the third concert of her Viajando por el mundo. Tropitour tour, held in Toronto, Canada, on July 25. The new album will mark her sixth studio release, following her previous work Tropicoqueta, which was released on June 20, 2025. The announcement came after Karol G performed a new track called "Matadora" during the tour’s opening in Chicago on July 24. This performance hinted at the possibility of a new album, which fans have eagerly anticipated. In a video shared on her social media platforms, she explained that she had been working on the project for several months, spending time in the studio creating new music and preparing segments for the tour. The video quickly gained traction, accumulating over 559,000 likes within six hours and sparking excitement among her followers. Alongside the video, Karol G posted a photo of herself, taken from the side, with the title of the album written beside it. Fans have speculated whether this image might represent the album cover. The new album is expected to continue the musical journey begun with Tropicoqueta, which celebrated Latin roots by blending genres such as merengue, bachata, mambo, and mariachi. The album featured collaborations with artists like Greeicy, Manu Chao, and Marco Antonio Solís. Tropicoqueta launched its global tour on July 24, 2025, and as of now, the tour includes 64 concerts across 20 countries. The tour began in Chicago and moved to Toronto before returning to the United States for a show in Washington on August 2. The itinerary spans multiple continents, including Colombia, Spain, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. However, there are no confirmed dates for a concert in Medellín, her hometown. The tour is scheduled to conclude exactly one year after its start, on July 24, 2027, at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy. Cities with the highest number of performances include Santiago, Chile, and Madrid, each hosting four shows. Karol G expressed her enthusiasm for the tour on her Instagram account, stating, “I couldn’t be more happy, excited, grateful, and still understanding everything that lies ahead.
