Karnataka SIR: Enumeration form distribution crosses 77% in Karnataka

Karnataka's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has seen the distribution of enumeration forms reach 77% as of July 7, 2026. Over 42 million electors have received forms since the house-to-house exercise began on June 30. While 17,539 polling stations completed 100% distribution, digitization remains low, with only 7.72% of forms processed digitally. The exercise identified over 100,000 electors who fall into categories such as deceased, relocated, or duplicates. Distribution was highest in Belagavi, followed by Mysuru and others, though some regions like the GBA divisions lagged behind. Digitization progress was minimal, with only a few polling stations achieving significant digital submission rates.
