Justice finds PM and his wife guilty of torturing pregnant housewife in Maranhão

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Maranhão has indicted entrepreneur Carolina Sthela Ferreira dos Anjos and police officer Michael Bruno Lopes Santos for the crimes of torture, attempted qualified homicide, and attempted abortion against domestic worker Samara Regina Dutra Soares, who was 19 years old at the time.
