The exhibition 'Beskraj' by young Croatian painter Ariane Herceg will open at the Decumanus Gallery in Krk on Friday, July 17th, starting at 8 PM. This is the second of three exhibitions under the annual LINK IN ART 12 project organized by the Culture Center of the City of Krk, themed 'Return to Organic – New Expressionism.' The exhibition will be presented by curator Luisa Ritoša. Herceg draws inspiration from nature, interpreting motifs such as water, forest, and sky through expressive painting techniques emphasizing color, rhythm, and texture. Blue tones play a significant role in conveying feelings of infinity and personal emotional states. The LINK IN ART project aims to connect various contemporary artistic practices and authors through a common theme. This year’s cycle includes Herceg’s exhibition, Natalija Borčić’s 'Ješka,' and will conclude with American sculptor Jonathan M. Davis’s 'Liminal Space' opening in early August. Herceg graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. The exhibition 'Beskraj' will be open until August 6th, daily except Sundays.
