Additionally, the school received the Erasmus project, which will allow sixteen students to spend two weeks in Lisbon on practical training, as explained by principal Ana Pasarić.

At the Gymnasium Eugena Kumičić, Eni Smolić was awarded the student of the year title, while Mirko Bilić-Centić was recognized as the teacher of the year. Smolić, a fourth-year student at the General Gymnasium in Lovran, stood out for her excellent grades, numerous competitions, and creative endeavors. She emphasized the enriching experiences she gained from the small class size, fostering a unique sense of connection among students. At the Hospitality and Tourism School, Iva Lenić was celebrated as the student of the year, an honor student preparing to enroll in law after graduation. She also excelled in volleyball, leading her school team to third place in the County competition. Ksenija Beljan, the principal and teacher of the year, highlighted Lenić’s moral leadership within the classroom, always ready to assist friends. Beljan was nominated by the teaching staff for her long-standing success in balancing authority with approachability, maintaining a spirit of adventure and a desire for progress and positive change within the school environment.
