Rapper Faneto sentenced to three years: abuse and beatings of his ex-girlfriend

The rapper Faneto, whose real name is Valentin Antonio Segura, has been sentenced to three years in prison for mistreatment and assault against his ex-girlfriend. The verdict was issued recently by Judge Chiara Valori in Milan, within an abbreviated trial process stemming from a police investigation coordinated by prosecutor Andrea Zanoncelli. The ex-girlfriend had previously filed a complaint last year and shared photos of bruises and alleged abuse on her Instagram profile. In October 2025, a precautionary measure was imposed on the artist, an Italian-Dominican, which included an electronic bracelet restricting him from approaching the woman and her family members at less than 500 meters.
