V torek ob 14.16 je na Vaneči v občini Puconci prišlo do hujše prometne nesreče, kjer je osebno vozilo trčilo v tovorno vozilo za prevoz komunalnih odpadkov. Dogodek je bil zabeležen kot ena najtežjih prometnih nesreč v regiji. Po podatkih iz Regijskega centra za obveščanje so gasilci PGD Murska Sobota hitro zavarovali kraj dogodka, oskrbeli poškodovano osebo do prihoda reševalcev NMP in nudili pomoč. Med drugim so nevtralizirali razlite motorne tekočine, kar je omogočilo varno nadaljevanje del. Vodja izmene OKC PU Murska Sobota, Denis Bujran, je potrdil, da je povzročitelj nesreče voznik osebnega avtomobila, ki je huje telesno poškodoval in se zdravi v bolnišnici v Mariboru. Članov Facebook skupine Radarji v Pomurju so dodatno opisali dogodek kot zgodnjo zgodnjo v krožišču pri Centru za ravnanje z odpadki (RECO) Puconci. Reševalci so poškodovano osebo prepeljali v UKC Maribor, kjer je bila nato zdravita. Ta incident, kljub svoji manjši stopnji, je ponovno pokazal, kako lahko hitrost in neposlušnost prometnih pravil povzročita resne posledice.
Na primorski avtocesti, med drugim med Lomom, je v zjutraj ob 7.40 zaznamovala tretja prometna nesrecha, kjer je avtobus trčil v avtodom, ki se je zatem prevrnil na bok. Dogodek je povzročil zaport avtoceste, kar je povzelo zastoj. Po sanaciji posledic nesreče so avtocesto spet odprli. Vodil je avtovlek na kraju dogodka, policija pa je opravljala ogled in skeniranje cestišča, kar je povzelo večjo zaporo avtoceste. Po podatkih policije je nesreča nastala zaradi nepravilnega premika z vozilom voznika avtodoma. Sopotnica v avtodomu je bila lažje poškodovana. Reševalci NMP so oskrbeli poškodovano osebo in jo prepeljali v UKC Ljubljana. Združeni prometni poroki so poudarili, da je zastoj med Vrhniko in Logatcem ostal, kar je povzelo dodatne težave za uporabnike avtoceste.
Prometne nesreče v zadnjem tednu so pokazale, kako pomembna je vzgoja vozilcev in strogo uporaba prometnih pravil. Kljub temu, da so bile vse tri nesreče različne v svoji naravi, so imeli skupno dejstvo, da so povzročile zamude in zmanjšalo dostopnost prometa. V vsakem primeru so gasilci in reševalci hitro reagovali, kar je omogočilo varno reševanje poškodovane osebe. Vendar pa so vse tri dogodke povezane z neustrezno uporabo prometnih pravil, kar je poudarjal policija v svojih sporočilih. Vse tri nesreče so tako pokazale, kako pomembna je zavest vozilcev o varnosti in odgovornosti v prometu.
