More than ten properties were banned from operation and sealed until corrections were made. Both Croatian citizens and foreigners, including Slovenians, were affected by these measures. Inspectors issued 68 administrative decisions prohibiting unregistered accommodation activities and illegal advertising. Over 80,000 euros in fines were imposed, with 62 complaints filed and 60 payment notices issued. The total financial gain from violations was over 343,812 euros. The law mandates fines between 1,327.23 and 3,981.68 euros for such violations, along with confiscation of illegally obtained profits. The inspectorate plans to continue intensified oversight throughout the tourist season and urges all providers to register their activities in accordance with current regulations.
