The Nigerian federal government has launched the National Laureate Prize, a program offering N365 million in awards to recognize academic research, innovation, and intellectual excellence among students and researchers in tertiary institutions. A total of 18 laureates will be selected, with three receiving star prizes and others recognized in thematic categories.
