CroatiaAn inaugural event of 'Ex tempore' ceramic art took place in the historic Castle of Grobnik, Croatia, where artists created ceramic works based on the theme of 'glagoljica' (a traditional Slavic poetic form) and old castles. The event, organized by the Grobnik Cathedral Choir School and led by artist Boris Roce, attracted 28 participants who crafted their pieces during a day-long workshop involving baking, painting, and glazing. The jury, composed of Jasna Rodin, Katerina Jovanović, and Dijana Trtanj, awarded first prize to Igor Malnar (€300), second prize to the duo Mladen Ivančić – Marina Krstić (€200), and third prize to Elda Čekada (€100). Participants included both professionals and amateurs, and the event was praised for fostering connections among artists and reviving the historical atmosphere of the castle through the Japanese raku technique. The artworks will be displayed at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Grobnik until the end of August.
